Just a quick one because  I'am in a rush. We have diner with friends so have to run right now. But never go out without red lips girls.

 

Wanna tell you that there will be a big, big, big update on wednesday so check it out if you like. I made a lot of new stuff and hope there will be time to work on my new design for the blog. Ooo...and did a lot of vintage shopping this weekend found some great items.

The day after...

The kings of Leon concert was great last night. 

It was freaking hot, the temperature was way above the 30 degrees inside with all that people but I don't care. This was the third time that I saw them play, but never saw them in a concert hall only on festivals.

They didn't play that long ( maby too hot on stage?) but what they played was perfect. I forgot my camera (stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!) So some pictures that I found on the internet.

And ofcourse I bought a t'shirt of my fav band. 

Also wanna say that I enjoy reading your comments on the news that I'll start the MIKASTORE.

Thanxs for the support guy's, I promiss that it will be great.

Exciting news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Mikascrap readers,

I Promised all of you that I will share my exciting news with you, so here we go.

In the fall I'm gonna open my digital shop called MIKASTORE (is that exciting news or what?)

I've had these plans for over two years now but never had the time to work things out. I had a lot of free time during my pregnancy so also lots of time to think what I really want in life. So I decided that I will give it a go.

I'm so excited to share this with you.......

MIKASCRAP 

Will be the place for inspiration, scrapbooking, painting, crafting and new creative ideas.

MIKASTORE

Is gonna be the store for buying paperkits, stickers, cards, ugly dolls, vintage items, paintings, fashion and art.

And to share my daily life on this planet with you there will be a MIKASTORY BLOG.

Hello monday

Hello monday. A new week starts today for me. I Like the feeling of a fresh start.

I have many goals for this one and a lot of fun things to share with you this week.

Also almost concert time.......Kings of Leon concert is planned for thursday, big news on the blog is coming up and the sun is shinning the whole week they say. What does a girl want more in life.....

ok ..... donuts to start with this week (LOL)

Ok back to creative stuff. I found this in the mail last week. 

All the way from Australia a present from my blog friend Brigitte. It is so nice to have friends all over the world. Brigitte follows my work from the start and I admire her style of creating. 

Thanxs again Brigitte for a lovely birth present.

The last weeks I made a lot of birthday cards for a few friends. Love this lil projects. 

And a new lo. It felt good to be scrapping again.

Summer time

I forgot that summer time is started last weekend (time flies), so everybody.......Happy summer time.

Did you have plans for the holiday's this year?

We stay at home this year and hope to enjoy good weather in our backyard.

Told you about the projects I'm working on. This is one I finished last night.

Use last weeks lots of space in my studio with this kind of projects. And for the one with good eyes......yep again tickets for a great concert. Where gonna see Placebo in december (never saw them live before so it's gonna be cool I think)

Are you curious about my big news already? (it feels like a big and serious step for me)

My dads studio

Sorry guy's yesterday I was not at home to update my blog, but I'll make it good with you right now..

How was your weekend? Mine was great. 

A lot of family time with hubs and Pepper and a great movie on sunday.

We saw Digrace a beautifull art house movie with John Malcovich. Did anyone see this one?

If you don't check it out, it's worth seeing.

I wanna show you this time not mine studio but the studio off my dad.

Alway's feeling inspired when I walk in that room. So much paintings, colours and space. My room is to lil to throw with paint and work with big canvas but in this you can throw paint all around you LOL.

I told you a year ago that my dad started a blog with his paintings but he never used it.

Now he had so much material that he will start again. When he update I let you know.

We started also a project together. Making cards of his paintings to sell them online. I think there will be a lot of peolple who loves his style of art. 

Ok back to Mikas Crap. I'm busy with a lot new projects and hope to show them soon. Also decide something, so big news is coming. Stay tuned .....Love Mika

Just as I told you, back soon this time.

 

Finished some nice stuff that I want to show. 

First of all a new key hanger. I made a couple so hope that my friends will "wear" my creation.

And the Lo that I made with my Matroesjka stickers.

Love to work with the materials that I have on my desk. This time paint, a magazine and some tape. Simple but nice I think.

Made this one for my studio. Pictures, lil drawings and some stuff for the inspiration.

Did I told you that we have tickets for the Kings of Leon concert 2 july? (So in love with that band, so it's gonna be a great night)

Started last night (didn't sleep that much) again reading in Kurt Cobains diary. Buy this a long time ago immediately after his death, and again very inspiring reading his mind lyrics and view on the world. If you never read it......give it a go.

Happy sunday

Can't believe it's sunday. Some weeks just disappear.

Before I know it's time, to pick up normal life and start with my job (gonna enjoy this free time as much as possible) I toughed first to start earlier with my job but now I'm not sure. Think I finally found my routine back at home.

The weekend was good. Spend much time walking with Puck and our dog, and yesterday we had a bbq birthday party. Hubby is working this whole weekend so didn't see him that much.......but tomorrow we spend the whole day together. 

Still on our program:

Making mini photo books for everyone who helped us the last months to enjoy our birth/ labor day's and say thank you again.

Uploading all the pictures we made the last weeks.

Find out how to make a lil DVD on the Mac.

Squashing again (it's gonna be hard after nine months I guess).

Starting making doodles on my brand new Bamboo.

Ok enough, I promised you my Matroesjka's so here we go.

And a few treasures that I found on the internet! I like to search and see what I can get. There is so much inspiration going on out there.

Ballpoint Matroesjka's

Excited to share my Matroesjka's with you today. Made a couple with ballpoint and there will be more this week.Do you like them? Please be honest.

Is everybody having a good day today? Over here it feels like fall instead off spring. But a perfect day to catch up with you.

Last week I've been shopping for some paint and pencils. On my way to the store I saw this graffiti paint on the wall. Love the different green colours in this. I ussually don't work with green but give it this time a change.
